Mary Huey encourages us to reach outside the pattern in her talk “Discovering the Keys to Your Creativity”. She shares the results of her own quest for creative quilting and provides ideas and steps you can take to access more creativity and increased satisfaction as a quilt maker. (There will be a workshop the following day on adapting patterns.)
October 19
Auction. Bring your checkbook, cash, and spare change! There’s something for everyone at the annual Heart of Ohio Quilters Guild Auction. The display of donated quilts that will be auctioned off is reason enough to attend. Guests welcome and most encouraged to attend!
November 16
Challenge. You’ve worked on the challenge piece all year; now this is the unveiling! Bring your original creation to display or come to admire the creativity of your sister quilters. It is a fun night.
December 21
Dinner & Installation of Officers. End the year with a relaxing evening with your sister quilters, thanking the out-going officers and welcoming the new year’s slate. A catered dinner will be optional at 6 pm, with tickets to be sold at the November meeting. The regular meeting will start at 7 pm.
