Celebrating 20 Years of Quilting
Granville, Ohio, October 7th and 8th, Biennial Quilt Show by the Heart of Ohio Quilters Guild at the Bryn Du Mansion Field House, 537 Jones Road, Granville, Ohio
This is a non-juried show of about 150 quilts made by our talented and diverse members...from the traditional hand quilters to the modern and machine art quilters. The show should prove to be an impressive viewing. There will be both large bed size quilts and decorative wall hanging size quilts. In addition, there will be quilted wearables, tote bags and other items made from fabric.
The guild's Featured Artist, Barb Whyte, will have a display of her many bright and beautiful quilts. An informative Quilt Turning will feature past guild President's Quilts. More than 10 vendors will be exhibiting for the quilt shoppers. We'll also have a silent auction each day with many small quilted items up for bid. There will be door prizes, a children's activity, and a Cafe featuring food from Bake and Brew.
Also available will be tickets for our Raffle Quilt, Heart of Ohio's 20 Years of Block of the Month. Each block of the sampler is an updated version, done in bright batiks. Tickets will be available right up to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8th, when the lucky ticket will be drawn. Tickets can also be purchased from any guild member or contact us at our email address.
